Canine Interests

I strongly believe that an intelligent, healthy, well trained dog is a happy dog

This is Bruno ( Breckonhill Boy )

Bruno was bred from some of the top Field Trial Champions at the time.

He was a fantastic dog to work with, a great gundog, and a super companion.

I had Bruno for 14 years, every day with him was a new and exciting experience for both of us.

He taught me that a dog has so much to offer it's owner,  and that an animal with a strong

willingness to learn, and please, should be encouraged, nurtured and enjoyed.

In his old age, Bruno became very deaf, but still,  every time he saw the gun come out,

he was up and ready to go, I'm sure he must have been one of the only dogs around

that understood, and reacted perfectly to sign language.

When Bruno died, I felt such a loss, I decided not to have another Springer Spaniel

as I did not want to constantly be comparing it with him.

THROUGH BRUNO MY INTEREST IN THE WORKING ABILITY OF DOGS WAS BORN

One day we will be re-united and we will once again roam the fields and woods.
